Using digital tools on your own phone or computer allows you to enjoy the full experience of a game without the added environmental impacts of unnecessary plastic production, printing, and freight.
Dice & Random Numbers
Dice and cards are how game designers use physical objects to pick a random number. These simple webtools can do that for you digitally:
Timers
I strongly recommend using the built-in timer app on your smartphone or watch to replace physical timers like sand timers and buzzers. Using your phone, you can easily set the volume and vibration to accommodate the accessibility needs of your group.
If you don’t have a device with a built-in timer available, you can use these simple web tools:

Word Generators
There are a ton of different random generators for English words & phrases that you can use in word guessing games like Charades, Pictionary, Bowl of Nouns, and more. Scorekeeping
You can keep track of player scores without using paper or pens by using a notes app on your phone, or you can use something like this Custom Digital Score Sheet.
